Okay, enough of the silliness. I actually finished my daily scholarly quota for today, so I'd best pay my attentions to this.
It was snowing today. Not much. Not much at all. But it was definitely snowing.
It's so cold out right now... a short trip outside was highly reminiscent of Russia. Speaking of which, Tchaikovsky is the most amazing composer ever, basically... His music has the power to make one cold and happy at the same time.. which is an odd feeling, but unique. For some reason, it reminds me of Upper Canada Village's "Alight at Night" Festival, which is basically an entire 19th century town + millions and millions of Christmas lights. It's stunning. I'll include a picture, but none really do it justice at all.
(The Columns of this manor house are actually lit in time variating with rhythms of music... )
I can't wait for winter to really be here.
oooh maybe we can go there together this year. the lights are quite hypnotizing.
