Brr!
It's September 11. And I'm freezing, so I'm wearing a scarf and a jacket indoors.
Brrr.
Anyways, this post is really about what day it is. 11 years ago, this morning, almost 3000 people went to work as usual and never came home. Ever. It's kind of overwhelming... Three. Thousand. That's three thousand families or groups of loved ones who were left missing someone. Three thousand groups of people who won't forget. So many people who will never get to better know their father or mother. It could have been us just as easily.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil.
The Tuscarora had a saying, They are not dead who live in the hearts they leave behind.
We'll always remember.
